Stuart joined the firm in December 1980, having originally trained with a London firm and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1977. He is a general practitioner, dealing with a range of clients.

Stuart enjoys the variety of the work involved and in particular meeting with people from different fields. He has a broad range of financial skills providing commercial, financial and taxation advice to various size businesses. He also deals with personal taxation matters for many individuals.

In his spare time, Stuart likes to watch football and still plays 5-a-side football regularly. Having always been interested in music he has learned to play the saxophone. He also takes occasional time out to appear as a TV and film extra.
